Scotland vs Zimbabwe, 2nd T20I: Preview, fantasy tips, likely XIs Image

Scotland and Zimbabwe will be up against each other in the second T20I of the three-match series at Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh, on Friday, 17 September. Scotland are currently 1-0 up in the series.

Scotland would expect more from their top-order. George Munsey, Kyle Coetzer and Ollie Hairs combined for eight runs last time. Similarly, the lower middle order too failed to add the finishing touch. It was a solo effort from Richie Berrington, who scored an unbeaten 82 off 61 deliveries, to help Ireland post 141/6 in 20 overs.

On the bowling front, Safyaan Sharif took four wickets, and did well to defend 14 runs in the last over. He conceded a four off the first ball but picked two wickets in the next three balls. Sharif was ably assisted by Chris Sole and Alasdair Evans.

For Zimbabwe, Wesley Madhevere and Tadiwanashe Marumani again failed to make an impact. Madhevere got out on the first ball of the innings. Milton Shumba's 30-ball 45 kept them in the game till the last over, but he could not take them across the finishing line. Craig Ervine (26) and Sean Williams (28) too chipped in with handy contributions.

Betway Fantasy Tips

  • Regis Chakabva should be the only wicketkeeper of your fantasy XI.
  • Ervine has been in decent form. He, along with Coetzer and Shumba are three ideal options for batting.
  • Berrington got a terrific half-century in the opening T20I, and is handy with the ball as well. Pick Berrington and Ryan Burl as two all-rounders.
