Zimbabwe defeated Scotland by six wickets in the third T20I to win the series by 2-1. They chased down a target of 180 in 19.1 overs, thanks to a terrific half-century from Milton Shumba.

Kyle Coetzer decided to bat first after winning the toss. Richard Ngarava got the better of Coetzer in the fourth over. Ollie Hairs walked out in the middle, and added 54 runs with George Munsey for the second wicket. Hairs' contribution, however, was worth eight runs.

Munsey notched his half-century and was on 54 when he ended up holing out to Craig Ervine off Luke Jongwe. Munsey's dismissal reduced Scotland to 77/3 in 8.5 overs.

Richard Berrington and Calum MacLeod then added 70 runs for the fifth wicket. Berrington has been in terrific form, and he chipped in 44. MacLeod remained unbeaten on 39 off 29, and Michael Leask hit two sixes for his 5-ball 17, to propel the home side to 177/4 in 20 overs.

After a string of failures, the opening pair managed to get Zimbabwe off a decent start. Innocent Kaia, who opened the innings in the last game, was dropped. Instead, Craig Ervine opened the innings with Regis Chakabva. The duo added 60 runs for the opening stand.

However, both openers got out in the space of three deliveries on 25. Wesley Madhevere and Milton Shumba then steadied the innings, adding 99 runs for the fourth wicket. Madhevere made 43 off 31 before getting run out, while Shumba's unbeaten 66 propelled Zimbabwe across the target.
