India bounced back into the Test series with a 317 runs win over England in the second Test in Chennai. The hosts needed seven wickets to win the game on day four. England on the other hand required 419 runs to win.

Akshar Patel became the ninth Indian bowler to take a fifer in his Test debut. Ravichandran Ashwin was adjudged as the man of the match for picking eight wickets and scoring a sensational hundred in the second innings.

Former England captain, Kevin Pietersen was once again at it on Twitter.

Another former England captain, Michael Vaughan also lauded India for their win in the second Test.

Cricket Twitterati’s favorite and former Indian cricketer also gave his tribute to the man of the moment, Ravichandran Ashwin. The Chennai boy dismissed Stokes for the 10th time in his 10th Test against him.

For the second series in a row, India made a comeback after losing the first Test. The Indian fans gave possible explanations for the same. Probably, none more apt than the one below.

England missed the presence of a big knock from any of their proper batsmen. Someone who could dictate terms like Ian Bell used to. The former England batsman praised Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin for their batting on a tough surface.

Indian captain, Virat Kohli also took to Twitter to appreciate the effort from his team.

The Chennai boy and India’s hero in the second Test, Ravichandran Ashwin thanked the #KnowledgableChennaiCrowd for backing him and the entire team.
