Sussex advanced to the semi-final of the T20 Blast with a thrilling five-wicket victory over Yorkshire, on Tuesday, 24 August. A half-century from Luke Wright and a fiery cameo from Rashid Khan, saw Sussex past the target of 178 runs with two balls to spare.
Most Runs
Leicestershire’s Josh Inglis is the leading run-scorer of the competition. He has amassed 531 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 176, and his performance in the T20 Blast has earned him a place in the Australia T20 World Cup squad.
Inglis is followed by Glenn Phillips, who has scored 500 runs n 12 games. At third place is Harry Brook, whose campaign has now come to an end after Yorkshire’s five-wicket defeat against Sussex.
