West Indies will host England in the fifth and final T20I of the series at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados, on 30 January. England levelled the series 2-2 after winning the last game by 34 runs, where West Indies could only manage 159/5 while chasing 194.
Despite the defeat, the decision to replace Shai Hope with Kyle Mayers at the top worked for West Indies. Mayers hit four sixes in his 23-ball 40, and got them off to a great start with Brandon King.
West Indies also promoted Jason Holder up the order, and he responded with a 24-ball 36. However, they were let down by King, who struggled to find the boundary after the Powerplay, and took 27 balls for his 26.
Among bowlers, Holder was a bit expensive but picked three wickets. With 10 wickets in four games, he is currently the leading wicket-taker of the series.
England had dropped Harry Brook and George Garton, after one match. Back to the side, Sam Billings hit two sixes to take England to 193/6. Earlier, Jason Roy forged an 85-run stand with James Vince after Tom Banton got out cheaply. Liam Livingstone has looked far from the best in his last two games.
On the bowling front, Tymal Mills has not had the kind of impact England would have hoped from hm. In the last game, he leaked 16 runs off his first over, and 14 off the next. Chris Jordan, who replaced Garton in the last game, should retain his place.
