West Indies took an unassailable 2-0 lead with a seven-run victory win Pakistan via the DLS Method at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. Pakistan were 103/6 in 18 overs when the rain interrupted the play.

Stafanie Taylor won the toss and decided to at. Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin got their team off a brisk start before the latter was bowled by Fatima Sana. Hayley Matthews departed in the next over. Sana removed Taylor as well, reducing the hosts to 45/3.

Chedean Nation and Kycia Knight then added 30 for the fifth wicket to take West Indies to 125/6. Knight hit two fours and a six in her 20-ball 30. Sana finished with 2-31 and Anam Amin with 2-18.

Pakistan got off a poor start, losing both openers cheaply. Matthews got the better of Javeria Rauf, while skipper Javeria Khan got run out.

Pakistan lost six wickets, of which five were run out. Nida Dar and Sidra Nawaz arrested the collapse somewhat, adding 37 runs for the fourth wicket before both were run out. They needed 21 from the last two overs when rain washed out the rest of the match.

Aliya Riaz was on 17 and Sana on 8 at that time. Pakistan were seven runs behind the DLS score. The third game will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Sunday, 4 July.

During the Pakistan innings, Nation and Chinelle Henry both collapsed while fielding. They had to be taken to the hospital.
