West Indies vs Pakistan, 2nd Women’s T20I: Preview, Probable XIs and Prediction Image

West Indies will be up against Pakistan in the second game of the three-match T20I series at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. The hosts lead the series by 1-0.

Pakistan failed to chase down a target of 137 runs in the first game. Their top-order succumbed to Shamilia Connell, who picked found herself on the cusp of a hat-trick early in the game. She hit both openers through the gate to reduce the tourists to 14/2.

Their top five batters combined just 40. None of them could reach double figures. Ayesha Naseem and Fatima Sana tried to reignite the chase, but the abysmal performance from their top-order did not help their cause. Naseem remained unbeaten on 45, while Fatima contributed with 24 off 21.

As far as West Indies are concerned, Stafanie Taylor is likely to go unchanged from the first T20I. They would like one of their batters to play big innings. Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin put on 65 for the opening wicket. The rest chipped in with handy contributions, but none could add the finishing touch to the decent start.
