West Indies vs Pakistan, 3rd Women’s ODI: Preview, prediction and probable XIs Image

West Indies will take on Pakistan in the third ODI of the five-match series at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, on Monday, 12 July. Having lost the first two games, this is a must-win contest for Pakistan to keep the series alive.

Pakistan have, time and again, been let down by their batters. Except for Muneeba Ali, and Nida Dar to some extent, the others are yet to put up anything substantial with the bat. Captain Javeria Khan is yet to reach the double figures in as many as five attempts on this tour.

They were skittled out for 120 in the last game. Muneeba’s 37 was the highest score of the innings. Omaima Sohail, Nida Dar and Aliya Riaz got starts but none managed to convert it into an innings of significance.

West Indies, on the other hand, have looked like a well-oiled machine up. They have fired on all cylinders. Chinelle Henry, who was rested for the first two ODIs, will return. However, she might not break into playing XI for this game.

Anisa Mohammed (9.4-1-27-4) was the pick of the bowlers in the last game. Other than her, Karishma Ramharack and Hayley Matthews picked two wickets each.
