Brisbane Heat reduced the gap between them and top-ranked Melbourne Renegades after beating Sydney Sixers by eight wickets in Match 37 of the WBBL 2021. The Heat now have 13 points from 10 games, two fewer than the Renegades.
Adelaide Strikers, meanwhile, beat bottom-placed Sydney Thunder by 18 runs in Match 38 of the competition to move ahead of Hobart Hurricanes, at sixth place.
Perth Scorchers, the Sixers and Melbourne Stars are at third, fourth and fifth places respectively.
