Melbourne Renegades beat Brisbane Heat by 15 runs to strengthen their position at the top of the points table. Fifties from Jemimah Rodrigues (52), Evelyn Jones (62), and Harmanpreet Kaur (65) propelled the Renegades to 207/4. Brisbane could only manage 192 in response. With four wins and three defeats, Brisbane Heat is at third place.

Melbourne Stars registered a comfortable 37-run victory over Adelaide Strikers. Meg Lanning's 45-ball 82 helped the Stars post 126/4 in the first innings. The bowlers then did well to restrict the Strikers for 89. 

Perth Scorchers fell two short of the target of 137/8 set up by Hobart Hurricanes at the WACA in Perth. The win took the Hurricanes to the sixth position. Perth, meanwhile, are positioned fourth.
