India sealed a 151-run win over England at Lord’s to take an early lead in the five-match Test series. The Indian pacers ran through England in the fourth innings to skittle them out for 120 in under two sessions.

Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers, claiming four wickets in each innings. Siraj removed a well-settled Jos Buttler and James Anderson in the space of four deliveries to wrap up the hosts. Other than Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah picked up three wickets, Ishant Sharma two, and Mohammed Shami one.

Earlier, an unbeaten 89-run stand between Shami and Bumrah helped India post a competitive total, after they lost Rishabh Pant early in the morning session.

With 14 points from two games, India are at the top of WTC points table. Following them are West Indies, another team to clinch a thriller this week, against Pakistan. West Indies survived a scare to chased down 168 with a wicket to spare. England are ranked third, followed by Pakistan. The other teams are yet to play Test cricket this season.
