Pakistan completed the whitewash with an innings-and-147-runs victory over Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club, on Monday, 10 May. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Nauman Ali picked up five wickets each after Abid Ali’s marathon knock ensured that Pakistan needs to bat only once in the match.

Here are the marks out of 10 for Pakistan from the Test series.

Hasan Ali: 9 (M 2, W 14, Avg 8.92)

Hasan wreaked havoc with the ball and topped the wicket-taking charts by some distance. He started the series with a four wickets haul, and followed it with a five-for in the second innings. Hasan once again rose to the occasion in the next Test, picking up another five-for to bowl out Zimbabwe for 132. He was adjudged the Player of the Series.

Abid Ali: 9 (M 2, R 275, Ave 275)

Abid emerged as the leading run-scorer of the series. In the first Test, he scored 60 and forged a 114-run stand with Imran Butt for the opening wicket. In the subsequent match, he got his maiden double ton to put Pakistan in the front.

Shaheen Shah Afridi: 8.5 (M 2, W 10, Avg 16.40, Econ 2.72)

Afridi picked up four wickets in the first match, all in the first innings. In the second, he bowled eleven overs but without any success. His five-for in the second match was a catalyst that accelerated Zimbabwe’s downfall.

Azhar Ali: 8 (M 2, R 162, Ave 81)

Azhar’s form has been a concern for Pakistan for quite some time. Here, he capitalised on some ordinary bowling performances from the opponents to reach the three-figure mark in the second Test. His 126 was laced with 17 fours and a six.

Fawad Alam: 8 (M 2, R 275, Ave 72)

Fawad maintained his 100% century-conversion rate, reaching his fourth Test century with aplomb. He made 140 in the first match, but got out cheaply in the second.

Nauman Ali: 8 (M 2, R 97, Ave 48, W 8, Ave 18.12)

Nauman starred with both bat and ball in the second Test. His quickfire 97 propelled Pakistan to 510/8. He also took five wickets in the last innings of the series.

Imran Butt: 7 (M 2, R 93, Ave 46.50)

Imran was unlucky to miss out on a century by nine runs in the first Test. He got out cheaply in the next match.

Mohammad Rizwan: 5 (M 2, R 66, Ave 33, Ct 5)

Rizwan had a lacklustre series where he failed to make any significant contribution across two matches.

Sajid Khan:4 (M 2, R 27, Ave 13.5, W 2, Ave 57.50)

Sajid played two matches, scored 27 runs and managed to pick up only two wickets.

Tabish Khan: 2 (M 1, W 1, Ave 68)

Tabish bowled 15 overs and picked up a wicket in his debut Test. He was a bit expensive in the second innings, conceded 46 runs in eleven overs.

Faheem Ashraf: 1.5 (M 1, W 1, Ave 36)

Faheem played the first Test in which he picked up a solitary wicket, of Roy Kaia. He was replaced by Tabish in the next match.

Babar Azam: 1.5 (M 2, R 2, Ave 1)

A horrible series for Pakistan skipper. He could only manage two runs across two matches including a golden duck in the first Test.
