Matthew Short and Jake Weatherald got the Strikers off to an explosive start, adding 34 in three overs. Weatherald (8) fell to Zahir Khan for 11. Short made 32, while Jonathan Wells top-scored with 37.
The Renegades were let down by their batting unit, as none barring Sam Harper (33) could manage anything substantial. Other than Agar, Daniel Worrall and Rashid Khan picked up two wickets each.
