The Thunder piled 209/7 after being asked to bat and bundled out the Renegades for 80 in 14.2 overs to register their fifth-straight win in the competition.
Mohammad Hasnain (3-22), Gurinder Sandhu (2-8) and Tanveer Sangha (2-12) starred with ball. James Seymour (25) was the only Renegades batter who scored more than 20. Aaron Finch and Kane Richardson scored 17 each.
Brisbane Heat v Hobart Hurricanes
