Marsh scores his maiden ton in BBL

Mitchell Marsh notched his maiden BBL century, against Hobart Hurricanes. He scored exactly 100 not out in 60 balls to help Perth Scorchers reach 183. The Hurricanes were then bowled out for 129. Ben McDermott top-scored for them, with 41. Tymal Mills claimed three wickets for the Scorchers, while Andrew Tye and Ashton Agar picked up two apiece.

Stokes signs three-year deal with Durham

Ben Stokes has extended his contract with Durham until 2024. Stokes is currently in Australia for the ongoing Ashes series. Stokes has played 64 County and 62 T20 Blast games for Durham. 

'I am delighted to commit to a further three years with Durham, I have had some fantastic memories playing for the Club over the years and I look forward to experiencing more of this in the future,' Stokes said.

Afghanistan to tour India in 2022

Afghanistan will tour India in 2022 for three-match ODI series. In the next two years, the Men's team will play 37 ODIs and 12 T20Is. They will also feature in Asia Cup and T20 World Cup, both scheduled to take place next year. 

'If we bifurcate the tally into limited-overs cricket and the test format, it clearly shows that Afghanistan's focus will be on the shorter formats of the game,' ACB said in a release.

Pakistan register series-clinching win over West Indies

Pakistan beat West Indies by nine runs in the second T20I, at the National Stadium in Karachi. They have now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Chasing 173, the West Indies were bowled out for 163. Shadab Khan was adjudged Player of the Match for his quick 28 and frugal spell. Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed three wickets.
