Australia need six wickets to win Adelaide Test

Australia will need six England wickets on the final day of the second Ashes Test match at the Adelaide Oval to win their ninth day-night Test match in as many attempts. They reduced England to 82/4 at stumps after setting an improbable target of 468.

England have already lost their top four – Rory Burns, Haseeb Hameed, Dawid Malan and Joe Root – in 43.2 overs on Day 4. They still have to survive three full sessions to avoid a defeat, which is highly unlikely on the cards.
