With a 109-ball 78 against Services in the first semi-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021/22, Prashant Chopra moved up to second place in the runs chart. He has now 435 runs at a strike rate of 73. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad, however, is likely to finish at the top, with 603 at 113. Chopra is followed by Shubham Sharma (418 at 96), Rishi Dhawan (416 at 123) and Manan Vohra (379 at 95).
