Karnataka are coming to this contest after an eight-wicket win against Rajasthan in the second pre-quarter-final. Uttar Pradesh beat Madhya Pradesh by five wickets in the third pre-quarterfinal to make the cut. Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh, on the other hand, were directly qualified for the quarter-finals after topping their respective groups.
